Mick Schumacher his season had its ups and downs and Guenther Steiner is looking for a more experienced driver to take the seat.

Nico Hülkenberg

35 year old Nico is a very experienced driver having 181 formula 1 race starts and driver for multiple Formula 1 teams. Since the end of 2019 he did not have a full season race seat and was reserve driver for Racingpoint/Aston Martin. In that role he several times had to fill in for sick drivers, most recent one at the first two races of this this season.

Mick Schumacher

Having bad luck last race at Interlagos qualifying 20th while his teammate secured pole future does not look good for Mick Schumacher. However for next season he is linked to the Mercedes test/reserve driver role replacing Nick de Vries who will move to the Alpha Tauri team.

A move to Mercedes would bring him to the team his legendary dad Michael Schumacher raced for in 2010-2012.
